I really have to thank Pixelpusher for the chance at building this Web site for Post Shredded Wheat’s “One Ingredient” campaign. With SEO and accessibility on web enabled mobile devices becoming more and more important by the day, Pixelpusher allowed me the opportunity to create as much of the site as I could using Prototype/script.aculo.us as opposed to 100% Flash. Andrew Harris likes to refer to this type of site as a “hybrid” site because it’s a combination of Flash and DHTML (I’d estimate 75% is DHTML and 25% is Flash). As far as creativity goes, this was an extremely rewarding site to work on. However, I believe by 2012 a site like this will be 90% animated with CSS3 (10% being a JavaScript framework).
