I had a very small role on this award-winning project that creates a super-cool 3-D virtual reality hologram depending on the user’s answers to a quiz about what type of car they’re looking to buy. The site is 99.999% Flash, so please don’t email me to ask me how Pixelpusher created the simulated hologram; it’s well beyond what I can do with my DOM Scripting skills! My task was write the CSS and jQuery that created the lightbox inline pop-up that houses the quiz’s results. The piece is also a good example of how to place a Flash SWF on top of another Flash SWF using SwfObject 2.0. This was my first attempt at creating a lightbox using jQuery.
